The Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center plans for the future by cultivating interest and passion in the next generation of scientists and clinicians on the forefront of cancer discoveries and patient care.
Our team of world-class clinicians, scientists, and educators combine their expertise to provide unique opportunities to excited high school students. Numerous HCCC members work with OCCET=led and University of Iowa-existing programs to provide early exposure to the tools in the battle against cancer.
These programs increase awareness of the multiple career options in cancer research and treatment that benefit patients and families afflicted by cancer.
