Jim's aggressive cancer had a tumor likely to spread to other areas of his body. His urologist discussed the procedure and told Jim the treatment would be equally aggressive.

Jim’s surgeon brought in a second surgical specialist to see that Jim’s bladder and nearby lymph nodes were free from cancer. Back at home, Jim contacted the hospital two nights in a row at 2 a.m. with questions.
“I talked with a doctor on the urology team who was familiar with my case. The advice I was given was helpful. At no time did I feel abandoned, even though I was two hours away.”
