The Iowa Cancer Consortium is Iowa’s statewide comprehensive cancer coalition. As a leader in cancer control, the Iowa Cancer Consortium offers the state’s cancer stakeholders access to resources, expertise, and non-competitive collaboration across traditional boundaries for a bigger impact in cancer prevention, early detection, treatment, and quality of life.
The Iowa Cancer Registry is a population-based cancer registry that has served the State of Iowa since 1973. The ICR has been a member of the National Cancer Institute's Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) Program since its inception in 1973.
Institute for Clinical and Translational Science
The Institute for Clinical and Translational Science (ICTS) at the University of Iowa was established by the Iowa Board of Regents in 2007. The ICTS has established several research cores and services for investigators, including Biomedical Informatics Core, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Research Design Core, Child Health Research Support Core, Clinical Research Unit, Community & Patient Engagement, Mobile Technology Lab, and Research Study Coordinators.
